Fairy Princess or Catwoman?

So Catwoman #1 came out recently, for those of you who read it (which you all should it was AWESOME!) you'll get where I am coming from on this. You see, for me I develope in my mind what I believe a character should be, and then I hope that the comic world complies with my thought process, and I must say Judd Winick's depiction of Catwoman was dead on. It was as if I wrote her myself. Everything I would imagine Catwoman would be, she is in the new story line, sexy and psychotic. Oh and violence... it was, to coin a phrase, peeerrrrrrrrrfect. Which takes me to... sigh.... Anne Hathaway. You know, the chick from The Princess Diaries and The Devil Wears Prada.... insert scratching record noise here...... I'm sorry, WHAT!? This is the person who you have chosen to represent what I just read in your comic... How can I put this... that's like putting Louie Anderson in a Speedo. Sure, he's a great guy, but it just doesn't work. So after a year of kick butt comic movies, and the hopes of greatness for 2012, this is what will haunt me for the next year? Shirley Temple playing Catherine Tramell in Basic Instinct (I get the comparison). I hope next year I will be posting an apology to Ms. Hathaway, but I have a funny feeling I won't be.
